This is a 4-week online course taking place from July 6 to August 30.
This 4-week online course is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions. This workshop focuses on the basic architectural tools most users need to work with Autodesk Revit. Teaches you to create full 3D architectural models and set them up in working drawings and prepares the students for the Autodesk Revit Architecture Certified User exam. This course blends design principles and practical, production-oriented knowledge and skills. The required courses provide students with a solid foundation in 3D Architectural modeling design by using state of the art technologies combined with current software design techniques. Autodesk Certified User Certification optional.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Use AutoCAD to make drawings using standard symbols and abbreviations, read scales, and make measurements.
- Describe deed and parcel of land, contour lines, water cycle, drainage basin, and basics of floodplains.
- Draw plan, profile and cross-sections of a road, delineate of earthwork in a road design, design and draw a floor plan.
- Design and draw elevations, simple roofs, and site plans.
